Every last Wednesday of the month the ECU Education Commission holds a Discussion Group meeting for chess educators to share experiences and discuss their ideas and knowledge on different topics related to Chess in Education. Discussion Group Meetings allow participants to learn from each other and gain new insights through different perspectives.
This month we are excited to invite you to a discussion on the FIDE Infinite Chess Project, an initiative designed to explore how chess can be a meaningful educational tool for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our project aims to use the cognitive and social benefits of chess to support the unique learning needs of children on the autism spectrum, providing them with a structured way to develop key skills.
