In frames of main goal of the 4th stage of FIDE Infinite Chess project, supported by IOC – expanding for Americas and African continents – we are excited to announce the start in Brazil.
The official launch of the chess project for people with autism spectrum disorder was organized on November 22nd at the Associação Brasileira Autismo Conexão (ABRAAC) by chess coach and project coordinator Luciano Gomes de Sousa.
The introductory lesson was attended by kids and their parents, among special guests were also the psychopedagogue Giulianna R. Osteti, and Sheila Marcondes, vice-president of the Associação Brasileira Autismo Conexão (ABRAAC) who contribute their valuable experience and knowledge in implementing the project.
