FIDE Infinite Chess Project

The online panel discussion for partners and all interested individuals in the FIDE Infinite Chess project was organized on 24 August at 13:00 CEST with support of the International Olympic Committee.

Hosted by the project coordinator Maria Tamkovich the panel discussion brought together 35 teachers, coaches, tutors and researchers with practical knowledge in the field from 24 countries. 

Dana Reizniece-Ozola, Deputy Chair of FIDE Management Board and Project Supervisor and Anastasia Sorokina, Chair of FIDE WOM, the Infinite Chess Project leader, warmly welcomed the participants.

Melodi Dincel, M.D., a specialized Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (Turkey), project’s partner for more than 2 years, shared her experience in parental support, social acknowledgement of ASD and stigmatization. 

Evguenia Charomova, Bachelor of Science, Masters in speech therapy, Speech-Language Therapist (New Zealand), spoke about frequent challenges: behavior, emotions regulations, discipline. 

The participants also discussed an important question of the social projects funding. Shared the ideas of how to search it, increase and the most important continue the sponsorship.

Maria Tamkovich presented to the partners roadmap of the upcoming 6 stage of the Infinite Chess project which starts in September and lasts till December 2024.
