FIDE Infinite Chess Project

The event featured the special participation of autistic children from the Infinite Chess Project with FIDE (International Chess Federation) support, and a special guest to play a simultaneous game. Matias Montenegro Under-16 District Champion – Classics, player from the Colégio Efanor Chess Club.
The event was organized by the non-profit association, Chess2all – Assoc. non-profit -Xadrez Social e Inclusivo, whose headquarters are also in Lavra, with the support of CRPF Lavra.
 
This initiative marks the beginning of a strategic vision of cooperation, focused on sport for all, inclusive and adapted sport. The organizers of the event firmly believe that chess is an activity that can reach and include people of all ages, abilities and skills, and they are committed to promoting its practice within our community.
Inclusivity in chess enriches any club even further and offers new opportunities for participation.
 
The open class was an opportunity for everyone to try the game, regardless of their experience level.
